QProtect®


QProtect® - with the changing reality, we offer tubes with QProtect® coating that inhibits the growth of undesirable bacteria and prevents bacterial infections*. The coating with biocidal properties is anintegral component of the varnish coating containing silver nanoparticles. Nanosilver effectively inhibits the growth and development of bacteria.

*The quantitative determination of bactericidal properties of coating samples was carried out in accordance with ISO 22196:2011 Measurement of antibacterial activity on plastic and other non-poroussurfaces.

The coating with biocidal properties is an integral component of the varnish coating, the main component of which are silver nanoparticles. The presence of silver is intended to inhibit the growth ofmicroorganisms on the surface of the tube that may appear when touched by the hand. Nanosilver effectively inhibits the growth and development of bacteria.

The QProtect®  coating in the form of a varnish applied to the entire surface of the tube as the last layer, prevents the transmission of bacteria and thus infections. QFlex®  tube with QProtect®  coating has better antibacterial properties than laminate tubes with antibacterial properties, the antibacterial surface of which is printed. In addition, UV-cured varnishes are 100% compositions that do not contain volatile organic compounds - therefore they are safe for the environment. The presence of nanosilver aims to inhibit the growth of microorganisms in the surface layers of the coating.
